For a while, it has been my goal to document an ethanol train at its final destination of an ethanol plant. After 2 years, I have made it happen! NS 4001, the Sonic Bonnet, leads the charge of local train B11-03, which brings the empties from Kankakee yard off of 65K and all the way to Marquis Energy in Hennepin, IL.Here, 4001 is reversing back onto their cut of ethanol crossing over a very scenic little crossbuck north of the wye.
