Kansas City Southern 4009 AT VANCOUVER, WA! One of only 3 (at the time of this image) specialty units on the KCS/KCSM roster (ghosts are excluded). How one managed to make its way up here this far from home is incredible. Makes NS heritage units ending up here look common in comparison. 4009 was initally far back and I couldn't get a good picture of it but I got lucky and it pulled forward and stopped directly next to me so I was able to do a photo shoot and get nice clean pictures. Behind KCS 4009 is KCS 4839 and in front of 4009 is BNSF 7178 leading the train. Glad I was able to get one of the specialty units here with CPKC only a couple months away.
