Old Glory, the State Flag of Texas and Union Pacific's corporate flags add even more red, white & blue and compliment UP 1943's livery. UP 1943, assigned to LAB46-28 (Hearne Local) and after dropping of UP 4141 last week; picked up a cut of tank cars from GATX Hearne repair shops and dropped them off on the Bryan Subdivision at the South Yard Limits. 1943 then cruised past the UP Yard Office with a pair of tanks with were being used as idlers. Taken from the TX6 / US190 highway over grade in Hearne, TX.
